‘Preview In Seoul 2023' to Feature ESG Innovators

Record-Breaking Number of Participants Amid Global Challenges

□ The Korea Federation of Textile Industries, under the leadership of President Lee Sang-woon, is hosting ‘Preview In Seoul 2023 (PIS 2023),' the largest event to date, from August 23rd to 25th at COEX. The event aims to respond to the rapidly changing textile and fashion industry landscape post-pandemic and showcase innovative technologies to enhance future competitiveness.

□ The upcoming‘PIS 2023' has already garnered significant industry anticipation and interest, with early registration closing due to over 500 companies applying to participate. Additionally, the Trend Fair, which will be concurrently held in Hall B1, will feature over 100 promising small and medium-sized fashion companies, creating a platform for fierce competition among leading domestic and international companies that actively reflect global market changes in the textile and fashion industry.

□ This year, in particular, exceptional environmentally friendly companies that take the lead in carbon reduction strategies and labor environment improvement within their supply chains, alongside their own initiatives, are participating in PIS.

· ESG leader HYOSUNG TNC CO., LTD. will showcase advanced technology in environmentally friendly chemical fiber manufacturing, such as ‘Creora Bio-Based (Spandex)' which replaces some fossil fuels with natural materials, and ‘Regen Ocean Nylon' made from recycled fishing nets. They will also focus on introducing environmentally friendly black spandex products, which have seen a surge in demand in both sports and everyday fashion.

· HEYONE CORPORATION, a specialist in outdoor and workwear fabric, is gaining attention in overseas markets with high-performance fabrics used in EU police uniforms, firefighting suits, airline uniforms, and more. At PIS, they will introduce a range of casual outdoor products developed using recycled nylon and polyester, organic cotton, and high-visibility workwear fabrics.

· SEOWONTECH CO., LTD, an eco-material specialist company, is actively practicing ESG management with certifications such as Bluesign, OEKO-TEX, and GRS. They will exhibit their innovative processes that reduce energy and CO2 emissions while achieving a 30% cost reduction, along with their environmentally friendly high-performance composite fabrics.

· SHINJINTEX CO., LTD Textile is developing various types of cellulose-based environmentally friendly woven and knit fabrics using recycled fibers such as Cupro, Tencel, Lyocell, natural fibers like cotton, linen, and hemp. They hold international certifications such as BCI, GRS, and ISO, and will target the growing market for environmentally friendly natural material clothing domestically and internationally.

· CORESHTECH CO., LTD., a carbon-neutral eco-material specialist company, is expanding its product range of biodegradable PLA materials to dominate the global market. They will showcase products made from the world's first non-genetically modified (Non-GMO) 100% PLA, including yarns, non-woven fabrics, and finished products.

· SHIN JOO WON D&G CO., LTD, a processing and manufacturing company, will introduce a 100% natural biodegradable WOOL insulation filling material developed in collaboration with British HD Company, alongside their premium down brand ‘Dibo.' It is an environmentally friendly material that offers a positive climate impact and guarantees ethical animal breeding practices.

□ ‘PIS 2023' will feature a variety of items focused on carbon neutrality and environmental protection, including resource-circulating materials, ethical processes, and energy-saving facilities. These offerings aim to provide practical solutions to buyers committed to sustainable management.
